The Report on Student Debt and Alumni Giving
Student Debt and Alumni Giving (pdf, 712 KB), a study commissioned by American Student Assistance, examines the correlations between students’ education debt and their likelihood to donate to their alma mater. The study revealed that student borrowers strongly desire financial literacy training and that students’ satisfaction with the helpfulness of the Financial Aid Office, with respect to debt management information, influenced alumni giving.
