Browser Requirements

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer—Version 5.0 and above—(excluding IE 5.5)
  • Netscape Navigator—Version 7.2 and above
  • Mozilla Firefox—Version 1.0 and above

In addition, browsers must be capable of supporting cookies, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), and HTML 3.2. Both Netscape and Internet Explorer support these features by default.

To ensure that SSL is properly configured, look in the settings. For Internet Explorer, go to your browser’s “Tools – Options – Advanced” or for Netscape, go to “Edit – Preferences – Privacy & Security” and enable these features.

Pop-up Blockers must be relaxed in order to utilize certain features and functions within ASA Direct®, such as Subscription and Custom Reports. Many browsers will permit you to allow pop-ups from certain Internet domains. It is safe to allow pop-up windows from the www.amsa.com domain.

Your use of ASA Direct® may also require the installation of the Adobe® Acrobat Reader® software (for PDF files) and either Microsoft® Excel or the Microsoft® Excel viewer application (for custom reports generated in .xls file format).
