American Student Assistance® (ASA) can help you administer the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) and other Title IV programs such as the Federal PLUS loan and Federal Pell Grant. Title IV, established by Congress in the Higher Education Act of 1965, set the framework for student educational aid. The Compliance department at ASA proactively develops tools and documents that can be used by schools, lenders, servicers, and borrowers to better understand how this program operates, and how the privacy and information security expectations of borrowers and partners are met.
