Exercising Your Professional Judgment

Course Description

In this session, participants will use case studies to gain an in-depth understanding about professional judgment, what it is and isn’t, and how to make decisions that support the regulations and students. Participants will leave this session with a better knowledge of the differences and similarities of institutional policy and professional judgment; the basic requirements, what is allowed and not allowed; documentation requirements, and special circumstances.

Any financial aid professional who must counsel students and make decisions on awarding and administering financial aid.
