Designated Administrator of the Federal Family Education Loan Program

ASA Is the Designated Administrator of the Federal Family Education Loan Program for Mass. and D.C.

As the primary guarantee agency for these two regions, we’ve made it a priority to get involved in the community.

Along with our collaborating community outreach organizations, we believe that learning about financial aid and fiscal responsibility must begin long before students embark on their college educations. Both parents, who serve as a vital resource for college-bound kids, and students benefit from programs that get families thinking ahead about college and how to pay for it.

In programs starting as early as middle school, ASA works with community groups to demystify the college application and financial aid process using everyday language and examples. Most importantly, these programs offer concrete steps families can take to begin preparing for college.
