Browsing

This website does not collect personally identifiable information from your computer when you browse this site. This means that unless you provide us with personally identifiable information, voluntarily and knowingly, we will not know your name, your e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information about you.

Our website uses "cookie" technology. Cookies are strings of text that a website stores on a user’s computer. Session cookies enable a website to keep track of a user's activity within the website but only for the duration of each visiting session. (For example, a session cookie enables a user to log-in within the "MyASA" section and then view the customized information.) Persistent cookies are retained from one session to the next. As stated above, each session cookie expires at the end of each session, unless chosen to be saved by the user as a persistent cookie through the use of a ‘remember me’ check box.

The Information We Collect When You Request a Service

When you request a service or feature that is offered on this website, such as MyASA, Ask the Experts, registering for training or requesting forms, we collect only the information necessary to provide that service. That information may include your e-mail address, first and last name and password. Your title, name of your organization, organization address and phone number may also be collected if provided by you.

Information Sharing

The information that you provide us in connection with the services you request is not shared with anyone else except as permitted by law. It is not sold to third parties for any purpose.

This site provides links to resources that you might find useful. These sites operate under different privacy policies. You must review the various privacy policies at linked sites. We have no control over the information that you might submit to them.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

This site is aimed at college aged individuals and/or their parents. It is not intended to obtain information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly take reasonable steps to delete the information.
